Lovely. Look what I just found online.
Pennsylvania is temporarily taking more time than usual to process birth certificates. The state office is upgrading their computers and this is the cause of the longer processing times. There is no way for anyone to speed up this process. We expect the times to shorten sometime soon.

Hey, Rachel. I hate to say it, but I've really fallen behind on reading your blog! So, I had to go back and read several to get caught up! Wow, girl! No wonder you are so tired lately! All the emotional ups and downs, AGAIN! That's crazy that it takes so long to get a simple birth certificate! Praying for your perseverance and strength to hang in there, trusting God's timing! You have definitely waited a LONG, strenuous, time for this to be done with! Praying you have amazing, great and joyful news very, very soon!

Thanks, Ann. It's been quite the rollercoaster ride, that's for sure! It's a ride I hope to never get on again when all is said and done.
