Looks like he's having a great time, but I sure do miss the lil' guy. Coming home tomorrow.

As the sun rises and opens my eyes,

I hear your voice quietly say, "Rise".

Rise, My child, as the dawn doth break,

How I long for you to wake.

Rise, My child, come sit with me.

Open your eyes to my artistry.

Come watch the sun rising in the east,

Open My Word for your morning feast.

How I long to start the morning with you,

While the grass still lies covered with dew.

Rise, My child, our time ticks away.

The longer you slumber, the less time to pray.

Rise, My child, seek Me first in the morn,

I've visited your days even before you were born.

I know the path laid out for you.

I have secrets to reveal that you never knew.

Rise, My child, come seek wisdom for today.

Our time passes while on your bed you still lay.

Rise, My child, though your body screams for rest,

Rest in My arms, child, and you will be blessed.

Though the clock says you need one hour more,

I'll give you strength so you can soar.

Rise, My child, you've everything to gain,

The strength you fear losing, My strength can sustain.

Rise, My child, I long for you.

Only at sunrise can you see My beautiful view!
